Claims Reporting and Support
We strive to make our claims process easy. Our experienced, in-house team is dedicated to providing the highest quality service and stands ready to guide you through the process.
How the claims process works.
Step 1: As soon as you’re aware of an incident, please make our claims team aware by reporting the claim to claimsreporting@haigroup.com. Please download, complete, and attach the appropriate ACORD form to the email. Downloadable versions are available in the ACORD Forms section below.
Follow-Up: A member of our experienced in-house claims team will reach out to you shortly after.
Step 2: Next, we’ll investigate the incident; calling on local adjusters, engineers, and accident reconstruction experts to help with the investigation if necessary.
Follow-Up: We’ll keep you informed every step of the way, so that you’re aware of the work we’re doing on your behalf.
Report Claims Without Delay
Because we understand that incidents don’t always happen during business hours, our reporting process is available 24/7. To report a claim after normal business hours, call 800-873-0242 and follow the prompts.
ACORD Forms
Submit a Claim
Start a claim by using the button to the right (please provide as much detail as possible about the incident). For after-hours claim reporting, call 800-873-0242 and follow the prompts.
Liability Claims
HAI Group is prepared to vigorously defend you against covered liability claim matters and promptly settle claims when warranted. If a claim or suit needs to be defended, we’ll retain the best legal team for your case from a network of approved national defense attorneys (In accordance with our policy of insurance, we retain the right and duty to select counsel.) Under the guidance of our legal team, our examiner will supervise all activities of your defense to ensure adherence to sound litigation management guidelines.
Property Claims
If you have a property claim, one of our local adjusters will survey the damage, prepare estimates and reports, retain experts to assist with the investigation, if warranted, and work with a local contractor of your choice to obtain a price for the repairs. You can choose your own contractor or vendor, as long as they’re licensed, insured, and capable of making the necessary repairs.
